Hi! I’m Harper Rees, a sophomore Film and TV Production major with an emphasis in directing at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, and a Music Technology minor.​

I’m most at home in the writing, directing, and editing phases of the process, where ideas become scenes and scenes become a complete emotional experience. I gravitate toward bold narratives and grounded characters, and I care deeply about building a collaborative set environment where everyone’s work elevates the story. Music is a major part of how I shape pacing, tone, and audience connection—whether that’s through sound, rhythm, or the quiet choices that make a moment land.
